2013 Ocean Alexander 65 Pilothouse — HIGH COTTON

HIGH COTTON is an exceptional example of the highly regarded Ocean Alexander 65 Pilothouse—and a yacht that we at Bay Marine know extraordinarily well. We originally custom-built and delivered this yacht new in 2013, and we are now proud to represent her for the fourth time. Having been involved with HIGH COTTON throughout her history, we can confidently say that she is one of the finest Ocean Alexander 64/65 Pilothouse yachts to come to market.

Custom designed for her original owners, HIGH COTTON was built with an extensive list of thoughtful upgrades that set her apart from other 65s. Highlights include a Yacht Controller, custom TNT hydraulic teak swim platform, foredeck chaise lounges, upgraded Control4 entertainment and A/V system, custom carpeting, flybridge enclosure, underwater lighting, LED lighting throughout, and a newer Strataglass enclosure.

Just as importantly, HIGH COTTON enjoyed the significant advantage of spending the first ten years of her life exclusively in fresh water before relocating to Hilton Head, South Carolina, where she has spent the past three years.

The Ocean Alexander 65 Pilothouse is an evolution of the successful 64 Pilothouse, with additional space incorporated throughout the yacht. Her enlarged pilothouse provides excellent visibility and a comfortable command center for extended cruising, while the generously proportioned master stateroom, spacious galley, expansive salon and well-designed flybridge create exceptional living and entertaining spaces. Accommodations include three staterooms and two heads, making her equally well suited for extended cruising with family or entertaining guests.

HIGH COTTON's custom salon and master stateroom layouts further distinguish her from the standard 65. In 2022, the yacht underwent an extensive interior refit, including new carpeting, new window treatments, custom stone countertops and all-new upholstery, giving the interior a fresh, contemporary appearance while retaining Ocean Alexander's renowned craftsmanship and joinery.

Performance is equally impressive. Twin Caterpillar C18A diesels producing 1,150 HP each provide the power, reliability and comfortable cruising characteristics for which this model is known. The comprehensive 1,000-hour Caterpillar engine service has also been completed, providing additional confidence for her next owner.

With an overall length approaching 70 feet, HIGH COTTON offers the accommodations and presence of a considerably larger yacht while maintaining the versatility and handling characteristics that have made the Ocean Alexander 64/65 Pilothouse series so desirable.
